The marginal earnings threshold is the amount which must not be exceeded in marginal employment. It also defines the maximum of additional earnings while receiving unemployment money or the so called "Notstandshilfe". Marginal earnings in addition to unemployment money are only possible in strictly defined exceptional cases. The marginal earnings threshold is indexed annually.
