I would like to go to Austria
If you want to live and work in Austria as an artist or cultural worker, you need to ask yourself two different questions:
- What requirements do I need to fulfil to be allowed to stay in Austria?
- Do I need a visa or a residence permit?
- What requirements do I need to fulfil to be allowed to work in Austria?
- Do I need a work permit? Does my residence permit include the authorisation to work?
How do you know which permits you need?
This depends on
- which nationality you have,
- how long you want to stay in Austria, and
- what you want to do in Austria.
