In a third country
If you authorise other people to exploit your intellectual property in a third country, you must comply with the copyright laws of that country.
It is advisable to check whether the state has signed an international treaty in the field of copyright, such as the Universal Copyright Convention, the (revised) Berne Convention, or the TRIPS Agreement, and whether the territoriality principle applies.
To do: It is best to find out about the laws of the respective country and check in the contract in which you authorised the exploitation of your artwork whether you agreed to apply the law of a particular country.
